The Civic Science Foundation supports the network of hubs with the help of Academics, Industry, and Government

Activities

  • Scientific Advisory Board

We are assembling a comprehensive team of experts from diverse fields to guide us in identifying and addressing the key challenges our planet encounters. These challenges will be shared with our network of hubs and their extended communities. Addressing these issues through decentralized collaboration not only fosters the application of new skills but also integrates the unique perspectives of participants, catalyzing a spectrum of innovative ideas. Some ideas may be released into the public domain, while others have the potential to evolve into impactful, regenerative products and services.

  • Lab Academy

We’re creating open access, industry relevant, hands-on programs and workshops in fields experiencing a talent gap. From running through the Design, Build, Test, and Learn cycle in SynBio, Differentiating cells into muscle tissue, precision fermentation, or turning “waste” into new materials/products, our programs will help provide opportunities for you to get ahead. You will be contributing to research projects along the way that could be published and support the fields you are stduying.

  • Establishing Hubs

The core belief is that individuals have an intrinsic desire to learn and create, deeply connected to their living environments and the challenges they encounter. Since 2014, there's been a noticeable trend of people being naturally drawn to address issues affecting their local ecosystems. Providing the resources for them to tackle these challenges is crucial, as it fosters a plethora of solutions and stimulates more involved discussions.
